Our History
Established in 1996, Cabinet Factory Outlet, Plus began bringing a large selection of quality kitchen and bath products to Omaha. Our friendly, skilled staff provides a level of customer care usually reserved for high end custom shops. Our goal is to provide great design and quality, durable products in a straight forward and comfortable atmosphere. Our knowledgeable staff and welcoming showroom take all of the stress out of designing your dream kitchen. You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to work with our designers and create a custom designed kitchen.
Meet Our Staff
Howland
Howland is the business owner of Cabinet Factory Outlet, Plus, which has been a family business since the beginning. He grew up in the industry and knows more “fun facts” about the nature of various wood species and cabinetry hardware than anyone we know! He serves on the Advisory Council of the SEN Design group and actively participates in local and national business groups, such as My Board of Directors, where he and other business leaders work together to improve and curate best business practices in their fields of work. He is passionate about teaching, learning, and being a responsible leader. Outside of the office, Howland loves travelling with his family, is very interested in underwater photography, and is the proud Dog Dad of an 80lb self-proclaimed “lap dog”, Lula. He also has two daughters, Lyda and Marissa, who both have played important roles in keeping the family business continuing to evolve and succeed.
Megan
Megan is a native Nebraskan and has lived in many parts of the state, including Blue Hill, Gordon, Beatrice, Kearney, Nebraska City, and Omaha. – If you are from a small town in Nebraska, chances are she will know it! Megan graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a double major in Interior design as well as Business Administration. Her extensive experience as a kitchen and bath designer has provided a great framework for her current position as Cabinet Factory Outlet, Plus Store Manager. Megan appreciates the unique challenges any remodel may bring and enjoys working with our designers and customers to find creative and effective solutions. While not in the office, Megan is often spending time with her family and their newest addition, a sweet dog named Phoebe.

Dana
Dana graduated from Iowa State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. She has made her career in kitchen and bath design for over 35 years. She enjoys keeping up on current design trends through programs and educational news articles provided by the National Kitchen and Bath Association. In 1995, she received her CKD certification (Certified Kitchen Designer) from the NKBA and has since continued to keep active in the industry through her roles and involvement in the Nebraska & Kansas Chapter of NKBA. Dana’s great attention to detail can transform your design dream into a reality, and you can be confident that your project will be functional as well as beautiful.

Jason
Originally from the Omaha area, Jason has been apart of the Cabinet Factory Outlet, Plus team for over 25 years. Jason especially enjoys the design process of making a space more functional, as well as creating a positive customer experience. He brings his knowledge and expertise in the industry, his enthusiasm, and his commitment to customer satisfaction into every project. Additionally, traveling, playing golf, and keeping up with sports news also keeps Jason busy outside of the office.

Andy
From being raised in Norfolk, Nebraska, working in Lincoln, and since moved to Omaha, Andy has brought over 10 years of experience in the industry to our team at Cabinet Factory Outlet, Plus. He has been apart of many aspects of the remodeling process and thus proves to be a helpful resource to all his clients. Andy excels at seeing the potential of a space and curating the design to be both functional as well as aesthetically appealing. He is also a proud dad who enjoys spending time with family outside of the office.

Vicky
Vicky is an Omaha native and studied Business Administration at Iowa Western in Council Bluffs, IA. In 2015 she began her career at the Home Depot as a Kitchen and Bath Designer, this is where she discovered design was her passion! Since then, she has worked for a few different companies, expanding her knowledge with each move. Vicky feels strongly about continuous learning within an ever-changing industry. She loves the opportunity to design with bold colors. Her goal is to help clients create a functional kitchen that is also unique to their personal style.
When not at work, Vicky and her husband enjoy taking long weekends to road trip and spending time with their two dogs, Malakai and Ava.

Cameron
Cam is the newest member to our team. He was born and raised in Omaha, with his childhood home being only 5 minutes way from CFO! Since he was 16 years old, Cam has been dedicated to exceptional customer service, always looking for ways to enhance the customer experience in every way possible. He has an interest in learning new skills and finding ways to apply them to his everyday life.
When not at work, you can find Cam visiting his favorite fishing spots or participating in basketball and football leagues. He also enjoys spending time with his 3 kids, going on new adventures and making memories together.

LYDA
Originally from Omaha, Lyda is usually the first smiling face you will find at the front desk working as our receptionist. Lyda graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University in 2017 and has since been involved in various career fields, such as retail management and behavioral health. She seems to have a knack for finding the perfect decorative hardware for our customers! She fondly refers to hardware as “the jewelry of the cabinets”.
While away from the desk, Lyda can be found rewatching baking shows with her pets, exploring interesting restaurants with friends, or researching ways to keep her ever-growing plant collection alive.
