2021 Cabinet Color Trends

The highly anticipated moment has come, 2020 is officially behind us. A new year means a fresh look at design. In 2020 we saw the rise of bold colored cabinetry. From capri drift to charcoal blue we saw several jobs leave our warehouse that employed at least a little pop of color. As we go in to this year those trends seem to be following. However, we’re now seeing even more diversity in solid color offering from our cabinet lines. If you’re considering a kitchen remodel this year it might be worth considering at least one of these trendy colors:

Yorktowne Cabinetry in our showroom at 72nd and Q. Dearborne/Dixon door style in “Island Sheer” from the Iconic Series. Click here to see all of the colors Yorktowne offers.

Green: If you’re looking to bring an earthy or natural vibe into your home, green cabinets might be the move to make. Darker emerald greens pair well with butcher block countertops and bold bronze or gold hardware. Lighter mint greens can give your space more of a retro or calming feel.

Blue: You can take blue one of two ways, lighter and more serene or darker and more sophisticated.

Pastels: Lighter color cabinetry can bring a vintage vibe into your kitchen. If you aren’t feeling like a whole kitchen of pastel cabinets is for you, no worries we don’t blame you. However, using a pastel for an island or for a hutch away from the splashes could turn your kitchen from a utility space to a conversation starter. You can’t deny though, that entirely pastel blue kitchen sure is pretty.

Feel free to call us or click here to schedule an appointment with one of our designers to see how you can get some funky colored cabinetry into your kitchen or bathroom.
